1st Class Tour
OFF
First we visited the Glanmore food factory where our lunches are made. For health and hygiene reasons, we had all wear hair nets and white jackets. We had to walk on some moving brushes which scrubbed our shoes before entering the main part of the factory. We then had to scrub our hands
Tommy very kindly brought us around the factory. He showed us how the dough for the bread is mixed in the big mixers. We also saw how the fruit is chopped and packed and we saw pasta being cooked. He allowed us to walk into the big fridges and freezers  (just for a quick minute!). It was great fun and we learned a lot.
Before leaving we were given our lunch and a treat bag. Thank you Glanmore!Â
On Wednesday then we went for a game of bowling in the Leisureplex. This was great fun!
