Easter Bonnet Competition!!

If you have visited our school recently you will have noticed corridors lined with all kinds of Easter Bonnets!!

WELL DONE to all the boys & girls who participated in the Easter Bonnet Competition!!!

Mrs Hughes & all the teachers are simply amazed at the response we had for the Easter Bonnet Competition!!

We are all extremely impressed with the amount of time and effort that the children and parents have put in to the designs.

The children made all types of bonnets using recyclable materials; some are tall, small, round, square, some used wool, paper, card, string, cardboard, paper plates, twigs, leaves, some bonnets are sewn, glued, taped, some are decorated with chicks, Easter eggs, stars, hearts, bunnies it goes on & on …

The standard is so high it will be a very difficult decision for the judges to make their final decision.

But really the most rewarding part of it all is the fun & excitement the children had creating the hats and also the joy and pleasure WE all had admiring & viewing them on display!

Well done to Mrs Byrne & Mrs Hughes for organising the competition & a BIG THANK YOU to all the children & parents for their beautiful creations!!
