Postman Simon Visits Junior Infants!!

In preparation for Aistear all the Junior Infants are learning about The Postman, all the important jobs they do and the journey a letter goes on.

Today they got a wonderful treat when Caithlin’s Daddy Simon came in to visit the Junior Infants.

He is a Postman!!

The children & teachers loved listening and learning all about his job.

Postman Simon told us all about his very early mornings, the busy route he has and what he has to do with all the letters and parcels. He showed us his cool Post Bike, his helmet that he wears everyday, he even brought in actual letters and parcels and he even demonstrated how his cool handheld computer device works!!

Postman Simon answered all the children’s questions and before he left he was given 3 very loud cheers from all the boys and girls.

The children can’t wait to role-play being Postman Simon in Aistear!
