Special visitors to Scoil Mhuire Junior

Members of the defence forces came to Scoil Mhuire Junior last week. They delivered an Irish flag to us along with the Proclamation. They taught us how to care for the flag and read the Proclamation for us.
We will mind the flag until the 15th of March 2016 which is when we will raise it. We will be raising the flag in commemoration of the 100 year anniversary of the Easter Rising along with every other school in Ireland!
