Hedgehog Rescue Dublin

Yvonne from wildlife Warriors came in to show the children in every class some hedgehogs up close and personal. Yvonne rescues hedgehogs that have been injured in road accidents or that have been found by the public and are unwell. Yvonne is currently nursing over 200 hedgehogs back to health. 

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to touch a hedgehog and to learn about where they live and what they like to eat. The children learned how to identify healthy and unwell hedgehogs.
